They're coming back again! One of Lethbridge's favorite live acts,
Elliott Brood is a three-piece, folk-rock/alt-country band based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Tickets are $25 each, with advance tickets available at The Slice Bar & Grill.

Elliott Brood's brand of fuzzed-up roots music makes for a captivating and frenetic live performance. That energy has always translates to the band’s five acclaimed records.

Their style has been called everything from ‘blackgrass’ to ‘death country,’ but those descriptions don’t capture the transcendent heights of their unique approach to roots music. Their latest tour is in support of 2017's Ghost Gardens, their newest album.

"Ghost Gardens is a complex layering and melding of country, bluegrass, folk, and rock to form a musical tapestry that is equally beautiful and bleak" - Glide Magazine

Opening act Steven Foord is always excellent as well. Above and beyond his regular role as owner of The Owl Acoustic Lounge, Foord is a prolific singer songwriter who produces haunting, melodic dark folk music as a solo act and sometimes with Megan Brown as the act known as Burning Bridge. A true gentleman and professional musician, be sure to come early to catch Steven's opening set.

Elliott Brood is a Canadian three-piece, alternative
country band formed in 2002 in Toronto.

(Casey Laforet) - Guitar / vocals / bass pedals (Stephen Pitkin) - suitcases / percussion / vocals (Mark Sasso) - Guitar / Banjo / ukulele / lead vocals

Formed in 2002, Elliott Brood (the name, a bastardized
homage to the fem fatal character in the 1984 Baseball
film ‘The Natural’) united teenage pals Sasso and Laforet
over their grown-up love for Neil Young, the Band and the
Flying Burrito Brothers. Pitkin was an accidental miracle:
he fell into the group after working sound at one of their
earliest concerts, offering to record their first EP. Tin
Type was a college radio hit and soon this compact trio
was making some big noise. Across five subsequent albums,
sharing vocals and trading instruments - each of the band-
members seems to play everything - Elliott Brood have
become one of the premier acts in Canadian roots music.
Work and Love is out October 21st, 2014 on Paper Bag
Records.
