Local country band Badlands rocked a full house at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Friday, Oct. 21.
I really wanted to see the Mayhemingways’s Benj Rowland, but I missed his opening set.
Badlands, featuring lead singer Ali Stuart, drummer Avery Friesen, bassist Devin Gergel and a lead guitarist singer Brett Stotes , played a tight set of mid-tempo modern country and alt country music showcasing Stuart’s voice.
Their set was mostly their own material.
